Thursday, June 20 at 7:00pm.  Hernias are an extremely common ailment and hernia repair is one of the most frequent surgeries in the United States, with more than one million performed each year, according to the FDA. more than one million hernia repairs are performed each year. During this informative discussion, Dr. Agostino Cervone, Peconic Bay Medical Center’s Chief of Robotic Surgery and a general surgeon specializing in robotic and advanced laproscopic surgery,  will discuss types of hernias, their causes, treatment and prevention.
