Event Details

Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm, except Wednesday, December 4. Receive community service hours by volunteering at the library. Give a helping hand by cleaning, organizing and assisting in program preparation, as well as the below opportunities:

VETERANS DAY CARDS: Create thank you cards for our local veterans. Three well-made cards will equal one hour of community service.

SNOWFLAKE ORNAMENTS: Make snowflake ornaments using pipe cleaners and beads to donate to the residents of the Westhampton Care Center.

TEEN REVIEWS: Submit a review of a 2017 or newer book and receive four hours of community service. Reviews are used for display and may be published on the library’s social media outlets. Ask a Teen Librarian for more information.

EDUCATIONAL BOOK BOOKMARKS:  Pick a travel, non-fiction or biography book in the library and make a quality bookmark to leave in the book. Bookmarks should include notes about things that you find interesting and fun facts.

ANIMAL SHELTER GIFTS: Make toys and beds for the animals at Kent Animal Shelter. While supplies last.
