Sunday, March 11 at 1:30pm. From potato farms to sod farms, from vineyards to orchards, farming has been a way of life on Long Island’s North Fork since the 17th Century. Over 100 crops grow in the unique climate and soil of the area and the farmstands and vineyards and their vistas draw visitors from around the world. Steve Wick, Pulitzer Prize winner and editor of the Riverhead News-Review, offers an unparalleled view of a landscape both constant and constantly changing.
