Saturday, August 4 at 3:30pm. In Vietnam: Remembrances of a War, Mansfield offers both a critique of the 2017 PBS Burns-Novick documentary The Vietnam War. He posits that the Vietnam War had an extraordinary, divisive and tragic effect on American society and culture unequaled since the Civil War, and addresses the premise, via commentaries of Vietnam veterans and others who served, that those who protested answered a higher call.
