Martin H. Levinson’s collection of poems, Signal Reactions and Other Poems, is a finalist for the 2021 S.I. Hayakawa Book Prize. The poems are “both cerebral and deeply tender, the combination of which makes for a voice that is witty, charming, and, even in the darkest moments of despair, filled with light,” says Matthew Lippman, winner of the 2018 Levis Prize for Poetry.
