Battle of the Books Information Meeting

Do you love reading? Do you have a competitive spirit? Then join our team for this year’s Battle of the Books! We will read six books, practice book trivia, have weekly meetings, and then compete against other Suffolk County Libraries in August for the title of Battle Champions! Anyone interested should come to the Battle Information Meeting on Wednesday May 01 from 3:30-4:00 pm.

At this meeting, you will get copies of the books to keep, meet your teammates, and get important Battle information. Meetings will be on Thursdays, June 13 - August 8 (except July 4) from 4:00-6:00 pm. The official Battle is on Saturday, August 10 (pending confirmation). Participants will have additional opportunities to earn raffle tickets for our Summer Reading Club.

Battle of the Books is for Teens entering grades 6-9 only. Registration required.
