Event Details

In March, our Library joins the United Nations Sustainable Goals program of Quality Education For All with a look at the importance of reading for all ages.  Does reading to children help them read?  Are families who read together more likely to achieve success?  Does reading help mental acuity as we age? What programs address the issues surrounding literacy?  Join our own Marie Yervasi and Gene Siller, the person behind the library’s popular “Reading to Leo” program to discuss what reading means for people of all ages.
