Thursday, December 10 at 6:00pm. Facial recognition programs can be used for general surveillance, including in combination with public video cameras, without your knowledge, consent or participation. For example, your driver’s license photograph is a good source for facial recognition use in a number of ways, as are the photos you post on Facebook and Instagram. Our own Head of Digital Services, Dave Jones will discuss to pros and cons of this rapidly evolving technology.
