Sunday, February 10 at 1:30pm. These postcards sold for pennies and were sent though the U.S. mail – of method of communication long since supplanted by cellphones and social media. Yet these three-by-five images offer a unique glimpse of the changing landscape through the eyes of local photographers, who unknowingly were catching both historic moments and important elements from our past. Take a look at this slice of visual history with author and Long Island historian Noel Gish.
