Event Details

Thursday, November 19 at 11:00am. Between the 19th and mid-20th century, toys and games of all varieties gained widely in popularity. Some of these toys can be seen as precursors for the kinds of toys that would become even more popular over time. On exhibit in the Rogers Mansion is a wide range of toys and games -- from board games to mechanical stuffed animals. This lecture will explore the subject of toys, comment on their status as collectibles, and showcase objects in the museum’s own collection.

Presented by Rogers Memorial Library and the Southampton History Museum with East End Libraries.

Register: Online at the Southampton History Museum.
