Friday, October 7 at 12:30pm.

When ocean temperatures fall below 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) sea turtles can become lethargic, and, unable to swim, float to the surface to be washed ashore. When temperatures remain low or turtles are not rescued, they can die. Hundreds or even thousands of sea turtles can be affected by cold-stunning events - but knowing what to do can make all the difference. Join the New York Marine Rescue Center to learn more about these beautiful turtles and how you can help save them.
