Native Americans and Indigenous American culture have influenced contemporary music, from Elvis Presley to Hank Williams to Jimi Hendrix. Craig Harris, musician, radio host, and author of Heartbeat, Warble, and the Electric Powwow: American Indian Music and the forthcoming Rise Up: Indigenous Music, will talk about the multi-faceted reach and resilience of Indigenous music, historically and today.
