In 1995, Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 broke apart. Now, a stream of particles ejected during the comet’s disruption might result in a dramatic meteor outburst late in the evening of May 30, 2022. The predictions are uncertain, so join Joe Rao, Former Chief Meteorologist and Science Editor for News 12 Westchester and Hudson Valley as he explains the reasons why you might see more shooting stars than you’ve seen in your entire life!

This is an East End Libraries Event hosted by Port Jefferson Library.

Registration required for Zoom link.
