Attorney Raymond J. Dowd recounts his historic landmark victory representing the museum, in which he succeeded not only in recovering the priceless 3200-year-old Assyrian artifact but also overturning the spoils of war doctrine, reaffirming the common law rule that no one can take good title to stolen property.
