Friday, June 8 at 12:00pm. To celebrate our upcoming bus trip to the New York Botanic Garden on June 13 for the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit, Suffolk County Community College Professor of Fine Arts Ranelle Wolf will talk about the American artist known as the Mother of Modernism and the influence of her many iconic works.  

Georgia O'Keeffe ( November 15, 1887 – March 6, 1986) was an American artist. She was best known for her paintings of enlarged flowersNew York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O’Keeffe has been recognized as the “Mother of American modernism."
