Friday, September 6 at 12:00pm. What happened to Louise Pietrewicz, a 38-year-old mother from Cutchogue who vanished after leaving her parents’ home in Sagaponack in October 1966? Her disappearance was ignored by the media. Fifty years later, journalists Steve Wick and Grant Parpa, with colleague Krysten Massa, investigated. The result is the award-winning documentary Gone, heralded nationally as “a triumph of community journalism.” The victim’s daughter said, “My mother was murdered. People knew about it and did nothing about it. These journalists did.” Wick and Grant will be on-hand for a question and answer session following the screening.

Registration required.
