Friday, November 1 at 12:00pm. Shinnecock Indian Nation enrolled tribal member and artist Jeremy Dennis will give a locally themed presentation on the indigenous history of Long Island. He will discuss how his work aims to enlighten and create a dialogue between indigenous and non-indigenous people by revisiting local history using landscape and portrait photography. The presentation is in association with National Native American Heritage Month, honoring the contributions and culture of Native Americans.
