Friday. January 24 at 12:00pm. It only happens every 10 years, but it’s a very important part of our democracy. Ever since 1790, the decennial census has determined how we are all represented in Congress, how our schools, roads, and yes, libraries are funded. Steven Collins, partnership specialist, with the U.S. Census Bureau will share with us the details of the new “digital census,” what’s being done to keep your information secure; and why it’s very important that each and every one of us stand up and be counted.
