Event Details

Friday, September 13 at 12:00pm. Did you know that when you get vaccinated, you’re protecting yourself and your community? It’s called “community immunity.” Vaccines play an important role in keeping us healthy. They protect us from serious and sometimes deadly diseases. Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Dr. Charles Guida, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, will speak about the science and history behind vaccines, and discuss their importance for both children and adults. Vaccines for travel will also be covered.

SECOND FRIDAYS FOR SENIORS: The Town of Southampton Senior Services will be serving lunch at the Friday Lunch and Learn presentations on health and medicine by Stony Brook/Southampton Hospital on the second Friday of every month!

Registration required.
