Sunday, November 4 at 1:30pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Dr. Diane Cypkin brings the story of the legendary Molly Picon, First Lady of the Yiddish Stage, to life through the many songs she both performed and wrote, including those from her films: Yidl Mitn Fidl (Yidl with His Fiddle) (1936), Come Blow Your Horn (1963) with Frank Sinatra, and Fiddler on the Roof (1971), where she played the matchmaker, Yente. For those who do not know Molly Picon, you are in for an amazing afternoon. For those who do, see you there!
