Cranberry Bog Nature Preserve, set in the wetlands of Riverhead, is what remains of an abandoned cranberry-growing operation and features views of the Little Peconic River, various plant life, bird species, reptiles and other local wildlife. Learn about the unique natural history of the preserve with this guided tour by naturalist John Turner.
The hike is just slightly under a mile and is appropriate for all levels (adults and children).
