Edna Lewis With Debra Freeman (Zoom Virtual Event)
Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
Chef, teacher, author, and a pioneer of the farm-to-table movement, Edna Lewis re-defined Southern cooking across 5 decades in restaurants ranging from Manhattan celebrity-favorite Cafe Nicolson to historic Gage and Tollner in Brooklyn. She wrote/co-wrote four cookbooks reflecting her upbringing in a small community of freed slaves and their descendants and the culinary influences that shaped her life and career. Join Debra Freeman, food writer, podcaster, executive producer, and host of Finding Edna Lewis, as she explores Lewis’s legacy.
