Friday, June 26 at 12:00pm. Facial recognition programs can be used for general surveillance in combination with public video cameras, without your knowledge, consent or participation. For example, your driver’s license photograph is a good source for facial recognition use in a number of ways. Our own Head of Digital Services Dave Jones, along with Library Geek Walter Pesce, will discuss the pros and cons of this rapidly evolving technology.
