Celebrate Lucille Ball’s birthday with this look at the beloved star and creator of the iconic and groundbreaking I Love Lucy. Ball starred in and produced many classic sitcoms and comedy specials and was the first female head of a major Hollywood studio, which she also owned. She continued to boldly go where no woman has gone before, launching the original Star Trek, which her studio produced.
