Sunday, April 7 at 2:00pm. The book for Long Island Reads in April is The Female Persuasion by Long Island native and New York Times best-selling author Meg Wolitzer. All of our book clubs will be reading and discussing this book, and she will speak at Plainview-Old Bethpage Library. Seating is first come, first served, and tickets for an overflow room where the event will be live-streamed will also be available. The event is free and open to all.

Tickets and bus transportation reservations are available beginning March 1 at 9:30am at: longislandreads.wordpress.com. Bus transportation is available for $12.50 and includes a seat at the event. The bus will stop in the parking lot behind the Library on Parlato Drive at 11:30am. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
