Friday, September 14 at 12:00pm. Do you have problems falling asleep, staying asleep, and/or waking up in the early morning hours? You may be suffering from a form of insomnia that can be helped by CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Therapist, Virginia St. John, LCSW/R, of East End DBT, will discuss the most prevalent sleep disorder which affects between 15-33% of the population. CBT-I has been shown to improve sleep and is now considered the first line treatment for chronic insomnia. This program is presented in collaboration with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
