Saving Fire Island From Robert Moses with Christopher Verga (Zoom Virtual Event)
Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 PM

In both 1932 and 1962, urban planner Robert Moses attempted to pave the unspoiled and tranquil shorelines of Fire Island, which ultimately led to the creation of the Fire Island National Seashore. (He still got a causeway named after him, though.)
