Enjoy your own home-grown corn, beans, and squash while celebrating the Native American tradition of a Three Sisters Garden. For centuries Native Americans have centered their agricultural and culinary traditions around these three crops which compliment each other in the garden as well as nutritionally. Please note that the traditional Three Sisters Garden requires a garden space of at least 48 square inches. Each kit contains a set of sweet corn seeds, summer and winter squash varieties, bean seeds, resources and instructions for care and planting, and peat fertilizer pellets to start the seeds. Registrants will also receive a YouTube video link with a demonstration. $5.00 per kit. One kit per family. Limited registration.
Registration is required to receive kit materials and link to video demonstration.
