Thursdays, July 19 - August 9 at 6:00pm. Eileen Duffy, the author of Behind the Bottle: The Rise of Wine on Long Island, will teach us how to taste and assess wine using samples from Long Island's premier wineries. Week one will feature rosé from different grapes and producers; week two will be whites; week three is reds. We will finish up by celebrating with sparkling wine, often among the best local value. The cost is $45.00 for the 4-part class, or $15.00 per class. Go home with increased knowledge and a systemized tasting sheet to impress friends and relatives!
