Do you love reading? Do you have a competitive spirit? Then, join our team for this year’s Battle of the Books! We will read six books, practice book trivia, have weekly meetings, and then compete against other Suffolk County Libraries in August for the title of Battle Champions! If interested, please attend the Battle Information Session on Wednesday, May 6 from 3:30-4:00pm. At this session, you will get copies of the books to keep, meet your teammates, and get important Battle information. Meetings will be Wednesdays, May 27 - August 5 from 4:30-6:30pm. The official Battle date is TBD. Books read for Battle will count toward the Summer Reading Club and 100 Books Before Graduation.
Battle of the Books is for Teens entering grades 6-9 only.
