Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm.

Receive community service hours by volunteering at the library. Give a helping hand by cleaning, organizing and assisting in program preparation, as well as the below opportunities:

EVERYDAY TIPS FOR A SUSTAINABLE LIFE: Brainstorm 10 ways you can save food, water, electricity, and recyclable materials in your everyday life and create a poster to hang in the Teen Room. Earn 1 hour for each well-made poster.   

TEEN REVIEWS: Submit a review of a 2017 or newer book and receive three hours of community service. Reviews are used for display and may be published on the library’s social media outlets. Ask a Teen Librarian for more information.

BANNED BOOK REVIEWS: For the month of September you will receive 4 community service hours if you read and review a banned or challenged books from any year.

EDUCATIONAL BOOK BOOKMARKS:  Pick a travel, non-fiction or biography book in the library and make a quality bookmark to leave in the book. Bookmarks should include notes about things that you find interesting and fun facts.

ANIMAL SHELTER GIFTS: Make toys and beds for the animals at Kent Animal Shelter. While supplies last.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH CARE CENTER FESTIVE DECORATIONS: Make fall wreaths to donate to Westhampton Care Center to bring some autumn cheer to the residents! While supplies last.
