Event Details
Wednesdays and Fridays 2:30 to 5:00pm. Earn community service hours by volunteering. Services may include cleaning, organizing and program preparation, as well as the bellow opportunities:
ARM KNITTING: Have you ever knitted before? Me either. Try something new and make a scarf as a gift. If you don’t have anyone in mind we’ll gladly donate your work to the local senior center. For residents to keep cozy and warm.
NO-SEW FLEECE BLANKETS: How about making something soft for a little one to enjoy? With the inspiration of Project Linus teens will making, then donate, no-sew fleece blankets for children and teens in local hospitals.
OCTOPI CROCHETING: There are still supplies if you wanted to learn how to crochet and donate a cuddly octopus to a preemie baby.
PLARN: Calling all teen volunteers. We need your help. Yarn needs to be made out of the plastic bags we collected. Then let the upcycling crafting begin!
