April 21 at 7:00pm: Northanger Abbey
Join us to read and discuss Austen’s first book, Northanger Abbey, as well as the books that inspired her to write. In this timeless coming-of-age story/Gothic parody, Austen’s first fictional heroine, Catherine Morland, navigates her suitors’ attentions while trying to unlock what she suspects is a horrifying truth about the family of the most promising admirer.
