The Writers' Workshop

Have you ever wanted to explore the meaning of a life-changing encounter? How do you begin shaping a story from your experiences? In this four-week introductory  writing workshop, workshop leader Maryann Calendrille will discuss how memoir differs from autobiography and journal writing and through exercises and shared  readings, immerse participants in the writing practice. Calendrille, co-owner of Canio’s Books, in Sag Harbor has been hosting writers’ talks and teaching writing  workshops at libraries, for the Ashawagh Hall writers workshop, and at Southampton College. She is editor of Sag Harbor Is: A Literary Celebration.

Registration is $40.00 for the series, is limited and is required.
